Updated 11/5/97 Welcome to Our Place in cyberspace. Since we're not able to visit with our out-of-town friends and family as often as we'd like to, we're hoping that this website will help stay in touch and up to date with everyone throughout the year. We plan to update Our Place each month with Charlie's latest photos and other newsworthy family exploits. We hope you'll visit us often and sign our guest book each time to let us know what's new with you.
This past month Charlie had his First Birthday! On October 14th, ten of his friends and their mom's came over for an afternoon party. Even Grandma Mary Lou and Grandpa Larry came to visit from North Carolina. It was planned and catered by Beth to her usual standards, so there was plenty of food and fun for everyone. Be sure to check out the birthday pictures in Charlie's photo album. Beth also had a birthday last month, although we're not advertising which one! She got a new camera and a fancy dinner in Buckhead to celebrate the occasion on October 26th. Then a few days later we sprung a surprise party on her at Scott and Tara Hallenback's home. This affair was catered by Bertucci's, one of Beth's favorites. Hopefully, Beth's first birthday in Georgia was a memorable one. We also welcomed some international visitors last month. Anne Kalin (WG-91) and her colleague Claudia were visiting from Krakow, Poland for a trade show in Atlanta. Anne and her husband John started a screenprinting business from scratch a few years ago in Poland and are now growing like crazy with over 50 full-time employees. We had a nice brunch at our place and heard all about their business adventures in Poland. Well, that's all of this month's news. Please let us know what's happening with you! |
